site visit because it’s not being used pending some system changes) had gotten turned back on somehow. The squelch circuit on it had mysteriously opened up and was keeping the repeater keyed. Kudos to the trusty G.E. Mastr II repeater. No damage to the P.A. and after completely removing the link radio and powering the system back up, the repeater is working just fine, as though nothing had happened.

They don’t built much equipment as durable as the old G.E. and Motorola equipment these days.

That said, I hope you guys down that way are enjoying the repeater. Stay tuned, because there may well be some exciting changes regarding that machine in the not-too-distant future!
