I’m very much looking forward to watching this tower go up. Plans are for the erection to take place in the next couple of months. What will be equally fun to observe is the
New 450′ tower slated for erection in August. Replacement for the aged tower which will be decommissioned and dismantled.
dismantling of the old tower which this one is replacing. A lot of work has gone into the planning of the antennas, feedlines, hardware, etc. for this job, and it’s still ongoing. I would like to tip my hat to all the folks who are working together to make this project go as smoothly as possible. If everything goes as it should, tenants on this tower should not experience more than a few moments of service interruption at most.
Keeping our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates, everything goes smoothly, and that all personnel stay safe and celebrate another job well done when it’s all over.
